Medical Malpractice Case Settles after 6-Week Trial With No Contribution From Hospital

A complex medical-malpractice matter involving the misdiagnosis of bacterial meningitis in an infant-patient, was settled for $6.2 million dollars after six weeks of testimony before a Westchester County jury. Jack Phelan was able to resolve the matter with no contribution from our client, a major Hudson Valley hospital, by establishing the hospital had no direct liability in the matter.
